Migrating from your existing broadband provider to topletter.com is very easy; all you need is your MAC code. This is a unique code that you must request from your current ISP and authorises us to migrate your connection from them to us. MAC codes are only valid for 30 days, so once you have your code, be sure to place your order within 30 days.

During the Topletter broadband sign up process, you must select the same connection speed as your current connection and choose "ADSL migration" as your installation method as well as entering your MAC code and the name of your current ISP. If you want to move to a higher speed broadband product we can regrade your line once you have migrated. The cost of regrading a line, either up or down in speed, is £12.93.

Once we have received your order we will process it and your connection will be migrated to us in a minimum of 5 working days. We will always endeavour to migrate your connection as soon as possible and we will notify you by e-mail (if an e-mail address has been provided) and by written letter when this will be. On the day of your migration you will experience approximately 30 minutes of downtime, this can happen at anytime after midnight of the day you are due to be migrated. After this downtime you will need to connect to the broadband network using your Topletter username and password.

The cost of migrating is normally £12.93. However Topletter is currently waiving this charge and customers can now migrate to Topletter for FREE!
